Pharmaceutical Industry Approach To Disease

Imagine: A bird pooped on your hair. What you'd do is remove the faeces and wash your hair.

The modern approach would be:

1. Cover your hair with a cloth (hide the problem with a drug)

2. As it would be a bit lumpy, they would flatten the area (another drug or surgery)

3. Bad smell? No problem, they spray some perfume on your head (third drug)

Each time; the symptoms are covered with a new drug, but there is no attempt to address the problem.

A Patient Cured Is A Loss Of Revenue

Dr. Linda Isaacs, M.D. - Lecturer and author:

For better or worse, the pharmaceutical industry funds a large portion of the research, and its objective is to increase profits for its stockholders.

So, their goal is to develop drugs (vaccinations) that can be patented and sold to treat illnesses (so they claim).
